OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our approach to ayahuasca and plant medicine is based on the principle of pura medicina.
This means that we work with ayahuasca exclusively as a means to alleviate suffering, facilitate healing, and awaken higher states of wisdom.
On our programs, we strive to guide each person to discover for themselves the solutions to the questions that initially brought them to the medicine. We help our guests develop a relationship with the plants and hold space for each person to empower their own process.
Our approach is based on shared trust and respect: for the medicine, the traditional lineage, the Maestros, the plants, and for each individual. We value sharing and educating about the roots of Amazonian plant medicine and aim to make this an accessible, applicable, and meaningful experience that translates to real change at home.
OUR EXPERIENCE

Casa Del Maestro’s team brings extensive experience to the ayahuasca space. Collectively we represent decades of experience in medicine, working with thousands of participants.
Each member of our core medicine team has worked in a variety of settings, ranging from large retreat centers to small groups and one-on-one sessions. We bring diverse and intimate medicine experience together with professional retreat management.
Maestro Don Alberto has been involved with plant medicine for over 50 years. He began his apprenticeship under the tutelage of his elders when he was eight, and first started working with foreigners over twenty years ago. His son, Maestro Eliseo, has over a decade of experience in retreat center settings and supports the continuation of his family’s lineage. Our core facilitation team has been working with Maestro Alberto for over a decade.
We are all committed to offering ayahuasca plant medicine in the most effective and accessible way possible, to the holistic benefit of all who come to the Casa.
